What about Federal Correction Officers? They stayed at their posts and did their jobs as always. They kept Americans safe from federal inmates and kept inmates safe from each other. Unlike air traffic controllers, they did it quietly and without making a big stink.

Trump must have heard of reports of the air traffic controllers and other federal employees sleeping in their cars and being ready to serve and keep air traffic safe. Others just walked out knowing full well they would get compensated at some time in the future. Dems wanted "airplanes falling from the skies". It is quite a contrast and the ones who were there deserve the $10,000.
