I quit 10 years ago drinking any kind of alcohol, i quit even drinking any kind of soda as well the only thing I drink is water 100% and ones in a while I might drink Vanilla soda made with sugar cane sugar. I love drinking water, I even bought a filter machine to filter my water better. It’s pretty sad that when you go down any highway in the USA all you see are Liquor stores all over the place ❗️😠they want to Dumb down humanity 😠by the way I quit smoking 35 years ago as well 😏

Well done, well done!!!
It is not easy to quit, but IMHO, you did the best thing for you, your friends, and your family!!! Brilliant!!!
If no one said it to you today, I am truly proud of you for mastering this!
God Bless you and yours!!!
It took my step dad over 50 years to quit. He was a Vietnam Vet. But he visited the MOSI museum in FL one day, and they had an exhibit on smoking that he saw first hand what the smoking did to people internally. He decided to quit cold turkey. I don't smoke and never have, in fact I worked as a waitress for 5 years and I cannot tolerate smoke at all. I have like an allergic cough to it. Anyways, he had me come see the exhibit as well! I applaud anyone who quits the products they designed to keep people addicted!!! Many of us have known people who lost their entire lives and their family connections to alcohol and smoking. My Uncle was a heavy drinker, he got Cirrhosis of the liver and he took his own life because of that pain. TY for sh

I lost my Grandfather, one of my uncle’s and my brother to alcoholism, my father was a big time drinker as well he passed heart disease. I wasn’t addicted to alcohol I just didn’t want to put poison into my body any more, I try to live as much as I can a healthy lifestyle. My body is my Temple.

My Mom and several of her brothers were alcoholics. I promised myself I would never let my kids see me drunk or even high, and they never did. I saw my Uncle have the dt's and I will never forget that. Alcohol is a crutch to underlying problems I believe, I couldn't handle feeling bad every day either!

💛 My Grandfather had heart problems and was a heavy drinker. My mom said he wasn't a mean old man, but that he would come home and pass out on the living room floor and let the kids bounce on him. Sad memory to have really, but yes, it can run deeply in families sadly!!!
And I have had friends who had abusive husbands that were drunks and they used to beat their wives.
I never much cared for alcohol. My older brother when I was about 12 or so, thought it was funny with his pals to see if I wanted a beer. I tried it and the sour taste was so bad that I never touched it again! But they thought it was funny!
