Everyone needs to be super-aware of their surroundings especially when driving in the city (and even more so when walking in urban areas). Be ALERT all around you. ALWAYS LOOK for an exit or out, don't let your vehicle get trapped in traffic especially at stoplights or on the highway. Stay on the outside lanes, watch shoulder & exits and be prepared to use them. Look far ahead while driving. Leave room from the vehicle in front of you so you don't get pinned in. Windows up (it's winter, that helps) and doors locked.
BE PREPARED IN YOUR SELF-DEFENSE.

If you come up on rioters, be prepared to detour or reverse out of the situation.

Our 43 year old Son in law passed 2 days ago at his work, 3rd stroke in just a few months, his older brother same with strokes, passed 6 days earlier.... very sad times
