California just voted to let politicians redraw their own congressional maps — overturning years of independent, citizen-led reform.
Prop 50 could hand Democrats up to five extra seats, but the real question isn’t who wins.
It’s whether it’s legal, and what happens when other states follow suit.
If California can gerrymander in the name of justice,
others will too — in the name of justice.
