Yep... known this all my life having parent's in the know, who spoke truth to us children, the tough bit was being around ignorant adults who always believed they know better..🙄

my parents rarely said anything about anything. my dad didnt like vazzines and during polio one really hesitated but gave in. only mandatory one when started school but thats when their werent any anyway. didnt go to docs either so knew he knew something.. but never said anything. surprised he didnt talk me out of nursing program. or even say anything. actually glad i did as it supported by questions from almost day one.. nursing to me was hands on. anything else was against my knowing but i didnt have a choice in not giving them . i always wanted to throw them at them.. but of course would never do that. at that time in my life i dont know why i felt that way. it was instinct i guess. as i got older it all came together but unfortunately after all my babies had their shots.. cause it was what you did.cant take that back but lucky they were okay. funny how it all comes about. your history makes you stronger and puts all the pieces together. i am more at ease today than at 25.
