Google trampled intellectual property when academic and public libraries invited them into their stacks to scan every book for the Google Books app. I had recently published a book in information science and they scanned it, destroying copyright. Frankly any author can suffer from this IP theft, but best selling authors suffer the most. I’m glad this author helped win the lawsuit. Following to see what actually happens.
