I have been studying glutathione for two years - I have found OTC supplements don't work since your stomach acid blocks the glutathione supplement distribution. Milk thistle and selenium supplements promote glutathione production within your body. The best food source I have found with the highest glutathione is non-alcoholic beer - and the product with the highest glutathione content is Stella Artois. I drink one every day, along with eating one brazil nut (for selenium). Lipophilic glutathione bypasses the stomach acid issue and is good if your levels are depleted by a physical event - such as sunburn, etc. - but can only be used sparingly and it is so strong. Thank you, Kris, for posting about glutathione for health - it is an extremely important subject to understand for improving personal health.
