I WORKED IN DC AND BALTIMORE THEY WERE LIKE FUCKING VIETNAM...THIS WAS ONLY 10 BLOCKS FROM THE CAPITAL I WAS PUTTING IN NEW WATER MAINS...YOU NEVER WENT ANYWHERE ALONE THE WHOLE CREW WENT WITH HEAVY TOOL BELTS...EVERYTHING WAS BEHIND BULLET PROOF GLASS..WE HAD TO GET OUT OF THERE BEFORE DARK BECAUSE A SMALL CREW WOULDNT STAND A CHANCE WHEN ALL THE NIGHT DEMONS CRAWLED OUT OF THEIR RAT HOLES..GUNSHOTS ALL THE TIME AND LEVELED UP AT NIGHT...GODS PUT ME IN SOME INTERESTING PLACES TO SEE FOR MYSELF

IT WAS UNBELIEVABLE HAPPENING RIGHT AROUND THE WHITE HOUSE AND THEY DID NOTHING ....COPS WOULDNT GO IN AT NIGHT ...IT WAS ALL RUN BY GANGS YOU COULD GET KILLED FOR WEARING THE WRONG COLOR..I WORKED DC MD VA AND PA 40 YRS

I don't know how I survived except by the Grace of God. Lived on Colorado Ave in DC at 8 yrs old my brother was 4. We ran all over DC as Mom was a waitress at a high end hotel downtown. Dad was a Marine. Mom taught me street smarts I guess. Many times I could have been taken but escaped, my brother wasn't as lucky as he was molested at 4yrs old. We had nannies but they would never stay all day. At 9 yrs old I took my brother by the hand in the snow and at 9PM and we rode the street car to have dinner with Mom at work. That's the time she got off! God was with us, believe me!! I'm glad it's just a memory, it made me the person I am today!

Sounds like Watts California years ago It wasnโt safe in the daytime either. When the truck in front of us lost several longs boards on the freeway that took out our motorcycle tire we were lucky to survive that only to be right by the Watts exist. The police took us to the police station for safety and the Harley was towed to the only shop in town to fix the next day. Lucky for us the policemen were going off duty so they drove us home. The police station had bulletproof glass but was full of bullet holes. The crime was so bad there the police told us we would not survive the night even in a motel
