i was not an elvis fan as my dad didnt like the gyrating of his singing even tho i liked his voice..when i got older i appreciated his voice more and the movies he was in. i saw the last stage video and he looked like a huge druggie. and then he died. well played out and of course in those days those things happened and no one knew of the dark side. thats what it was..he mentions it subtly.about the money he owed. part of that was due to his dark manager. he had no choice. when someone said he was alive a few years ago i said no but saw him in his church, that was all i needed to see and hear.. that tone in his voice. no one could compare. his daddy said he should be a preacher cause as a child it was home to him.. he was back where he belonged. preaching the word. and loving life. a new life. i am sad to hear his death is pending but arent we all? hoping he will use the med bed to extend his life with continued spiritual guidance he has given soooo many of those who also are hiding..
