I never buy packaged meat. There is a local butcher shop here that sells only all grass fed beef from local farmers and ranchers. Much of his inventory consists of locally grown products such as whole milk with the cream still in it, free range eggs, fresh whole chickens never frozen, local fruit and veggies, local honey and so much more. His prices are often lower than super market prices. The owners are local people who have been here for decades. I am proudly one of their regular customers. There is no comparison to fresh locally grown products and processed foods sold in the super markets.
