One of the coolest places I’ve ever been!! So many tales to tell: being woken up in my tent by bear huffing right by my head, husband having to open his coat and stretch hands out to chase off a bear charge, me almost stepping on a sleeping bear in the middle of the trail(!), bear on a float plane so can’t dock until he chose to move on, and having to travel to a different lake to leave by with bad weather - keeping our luggage light so plane could take off and barely skimming the top of the hill on the way out . Would do it again in a heartbeat!!
