Maybe as Elon Musk's companies move closer to reality, that is, when they have to survive sans government mega grants, the need for lithium will decrease.
Lithium is such a dangerous chemical, yet perhaps it is very good for certain things, such as for manic-depression, aka bi-polar illness.
But when the cures and medbeds are here, lithium probably won't be needed as a drug.
And what about "free energy?"
