growing up in the midwest[real America]the week leading up to Independence Day was non-stop fireworks--sky Rockets to M80's and bigger, then on the 4th stuff got serious--now in Ca. I have not heard or seen anything at all, nothing and there are fireworks stands selling sparklers, snakes and fountains--have not heard one firecracker since New years eve and it is going on noon now--the commies have won this battle so far
