And if a helicopter hovers in the air for a few minutes, why does it come down in the same spot it lifted off from???
If the earth was really spinning, shouldn't it come down in a different spot because of the earth's rotation???

If the Earth were rotating at over 1000 mph at the equator, imagine the wind speeds on its surface!
