In America you are innocent until proven guilty. A crooked DOJ like we had under Biden could start criminal investigations of anyone they politically disagree with for any reason. The only protection the innocent have is due process and innocent until proven guilty.
If they are found guilty after being charged and tried (not just investigated) then removal and sentencing is in order.
