When I was in the Navy, I always wore my uniform with great pride. I respected my fellow sailors and my CO. I had goosebumps when they raised the Flag and whenever I heard the Star Spangled Banner. There was nothing spectacular to me about those things. It was in my blood and my DNA. Now when I see the rioters burning our beautiful flag, I feel a great anger and sadness. Where were these animals when D-Day and Tripoli and Vietnam and Afghanistan were happening? You can bet your hat they were crouched down in a hole of under a rock.
