I know many of you do not want to believe this. As an alternative, I use these oils and creams.
Natural Oils and Ingredients
Coconut Oil: Provides a mild SPF of 4-5 and is deeply hydrating, making it suitable for short sun exposures. It contains natural antioxidants that benefit the skin.
2
Raspberry Seed Oil: Estimated to have an SPF between 28-50, this oil is rich in vitamin E and offers significant sun protection while being lightweight and easily absorbed.
1
Carrot Seed Oil: Known for its SPF levels of around 35-40, it is packed with antioxidants and has anti-aging properties, making it a great natural option.
1
Shea Butter: While it offers minimal SPF (4-6), it acts as a moisturizing barrier against UV rays and is excellent for nourishing dry skin.
Aloe Vera Gel: Although it doesn’t provide high SPF, it is known for its soothing properties and can help reduce skin redness and irritation after sun exposure.
I live in Florida, I golf, have a pool and love the beach

Thanks, great info! Will def try the coconut oil. Haven't seen any of the other around in my neck of the woods, but I do already have coconut oil on hand, so will give it a try.

I know! It's great stuff and I always have it on hand. I also use it for that homemade deoderant recipe and found (for me anyways) that it works really great. Have a wonderful day!

COCONUT OIL DEODERANT: 4 TBsp coconut oil 1/4 Cup baking soda 5-10 drops fav. essential oil. (I use lemon grass, helps with bugs) 1.Melt the oil 2. add in the soda & ess oils. 3. Pour it into a jar, (I use an empty stick deoderant stick). Put in fridge to harden. You can use cornstarch instead of the B.Soda (I don't keep mine in the fridge after it's hardened, it doesn't seem to soften in room temp)
