If the Annunaki hijacking our DNA, to create biddable slaves, has even a grain of truth, it would explain the powers bring related... they did not get us 'right', first try.
They used their DNA, to hasten our evolution, but discovered humans with Annunaki powers (telepathy, telekinesis, longevity, healing - immortality), to be a threat to THEM.
So, they tried again, turning off the majority of the powers... instead opting for fertility, we do not reproduce in a 'season' like other animals.
So, we in our current state, are the result of multiple tests. All that 'junk' DNA we possess would have been active at some point. We are now, no longer totally in synch with Earth and it's flora and fauna - we are different, I think our frequency has been changed because of the tampering.

Our testing would not have been confined to the physical variety but, our psychological biddability, and ability to follow instruction would also have been tested, (Eves curiosity, and gullability was tested).
We were to have independence, to a certain point, but not sovereignty, because created slaves, created to dig and store gold for their masters, are not free to decide their own fate.
From what I read, the Annunaki come to Earth every 3600years. They view and test their creation, and remove the gold we have mined for them.
If they are dissatisfied with the test batch, they destroy it, and begin again. (flloods, cataclysms like Sodom and Gomora, mud flood, and the evidence of nuclear activity in India).
Of course, Nibirus passage, is usually cataclysmic, so whether the Annunaki instigate the sterilization or it happens as a matter of course, is not clear.

Beings with advanced tech, and personal powers we can only dream of, would be considered gods... particularly if they actually used parts of themselves to create us... making us truly 'part' of them, part of 'god'...
I heard years ago, there was supposed to be a movie, called 'Annunaki', but, it's production was stopped.
A few years ago, the movie 'Eternals' was made... and I am of the mind, that this was as close to describing the Annunaki intervention on Earth as they were allowed to go.
They mention 'Tiamat' (as the child born inside the Earth, quickened by human consciousness). Tiamat, in Sumerian legend, was the planet destroyed by one of Nibirus passages, creating our asteroid belt.
I have wondered if the Eternaks movie was part of the process of normalizing human interaction with powerful extra terrestrials. That process has been going on for decades.
