I’ve been a corporate instructional designer for 25 years. Teachers leaving education for corporate is all over LinkedIn right now. The company I’m currently working at has a young ID who is telling me she just left education for corporate. They are going back to school to get Instructional Design degrees. I’ve never felt called to teaching kids, only adults, but I’ve always been happy to know there were people that are. It saddens me that the best teachers are the ones that are probably leaving leaving us with the worst ones to teach our kids. If you’re u can homeschool you should. The money spent on clothes, meals, transportation, extra curriculars for the kids and parent that homeschools is a good portion of that parent’s salary. If you’re already blessed to be a stay at home mom consider doing it for just one year commit to that knowing you can always send them back to school. Don’t worry about how they will test because they will test better than their peers guaranteed.

Shout out to my teacher children… one of my sons and his teacher wife opted to leave the school system, home school their kids, and start a new path working from home in a different field. My other son still teaches in the school system (rural) and his wife did also leave the school system to follow a new path. To any of the teachers that remain, in good faith, I know they can still help some kids. No judgement for leaving the school system, just an extra thanks for any who try to stay. It is difficult either way, but good people are still out there and holding the line… even if you do not see them. 🙏

There's a difference between 'watching a movie', 'being in a movie' and 'being in the audience watching the movie.
Rem the Cinema shooting - Aurora, CO - for one of the Batman movies?
The audience didn't realize they were going to be ginny pigs of a staged PsyOp event FF ... or what that even real - maybe the audience were crisis actors.
When deal w/ liars the movie facade breaks down - not knowing what's really going on in the world while people are believing they're watching a movie (safe in a movie theater) and not being 'effected' ... but they are - it's their real lifes being 'effected'.
Like taking candy from a baby - the baby has no idea what's going on.
But those taking the candy do.
