Yes, it does more than just remove parasites, if you get a mosquito bite or bug bite it stops the itch almost immediately just rub a little bit on with a piece of tissue paper. If you have a tooth infection make a little patch of tissue paper, put some turpentine on it and put it between the cheek and that tooth for at least 20 minutes and it kills the infection, toothache gone.

DMSO and Pure Gum both come from the Pine tree, so I am guessing one of those trees is the Pine.
