I hate to say this, but I have a friend who I have known for 20+ years who sat at a dinner table with him once, and had quite the negative experience which gave real insight into who he was. I still wrestle with it, but it is what it is. I am hoping that since it was a long time ago, that he has truly changed. I know I have changed over the years myself, in a positive way, and it has everything to do with The Almighty.

I've never met Trump, but I know people who have.
The best story is from a businessman friend who had a realtor friend with a problem - he was in a deal that the two -owner and purchaser couldn't agree on terms in order to close the deal.
My friend managed to get the two realtors a meeting with Trump.
As soon as the two sat down in Trump's office, one of them started speaking.
Trump pointed to him and said, "You, shut the fck up."
Then within five minutes, the deal was made.
In those days, as a NYC realtor, being direct and even rude had its benefits.
Maybe some of those old tactics are necessary in these days, too.
Tough guys can be okay but wimpy guys may not appreciate them.

Agreed. In the case of my friend, he was dealing with a strong woman. Let's just say he did not take well to that at all.
