9th Circuit finds TMCC retaliated against professor, violated his First Amendment rights

"Truckee Meadows Community College administrators violated the First Amendment rights of a TMCC faculty member and retaliated against him for raising concerns about changing math standards."

"Jensen in 2019 raised concerns about math curriculum standards being changed, which he said would leave students less prepared than with the then-existing math standards. During a faculty meeting, Jensen was told he could not voice his objections."
