I’ve been awake since the 70s because I was in the rust belt and saw whole industries dissapeared to Mexico, Canada, and China. I could do nothing but educate myself in trade school to work at dealership level to make a living, and that was cheap labor. I only started to make 40k after I had 21 ASEs under my belt. Being a master mechanic and making 12bucks an hour sucked but it put food on the table
