Anyone up for a Q the Gathering Car Drive on the Cherohala & Meet and Greet? From NC to TN and back?

Please note that this skyway is relatively up to 5000+ feet in height at times and you should make sure tires and car is checked before coming on this drive due to the fact that gas stations or repair places are many miles from where we are driving, it is very very rural and some cell phone reception may not be available in places!

Tellico Plains is about an hour from me; it's beautiful over there. I'll check the route to see if it's doable safely. (hoping medbeds are released this summer, then the issue would be solved). They say "after 40 it's patch, patch, patch;" well after 60 you have to bring in the heavy equipment 😂.

Let's keep in touch as the time draws near. You know how it is when truthers get together -- we can't stop talking 🙊😄.

TY!!! I would enjoy and love the help!!! And I do hope so! I would love to make this a weekend or 3 day event, just keep in mind summer and July 4th is still big around here and less places to find accommodations if they are all booked! But we shall see, nothing set in stone yet!

Late October the leaves are changing, and it's really incredible!
I live on a mountain, and when the leaves change color there's one tree that's draped in NEON BRIGHT pink-orange leaves; it's almost ethereal 💖.

Yes, it would be nice in the fall with warm temperatures for those who would like to camp out. There is a lot of camping in this area, some even for FREE!
