If the IRS building has been closed for 4 years and seemingly not functioning, why should we file income tax, and possibly have to pay? Who gets our money? I have asked this before and the answer I get is basically, "you should research and decide for yourself." It seems no one wants to commit to an answer. So if we have to pay, and don't file. will evil agents come knocking on my door?"
