"I was in the process of walking over here to share a new musing. On a recent visit to a local park, my daughter and I came upon a grouping of Crocuses, fully emerged through a cluster of leftover, dead winter leaves. At the time it reminded me of life, death and rebirth. The cycles of nature.
The cycles of Life. And I was set to write something lighthearted.
However, sometimes reality waxes in and changes the tone.
For literally as I sat down to begin composing this, my daughter's dad had some sad news to share - his stepmom passed away last night."

Lovely!!! I snapped a pic of some that popped up the March just after my Mom died in Feb 2023 for memory!! I just love the purple warmth of the Spring blooms!!!
