So what, it is your body. Just say no thanks. I have, my family has, friends have. I quit using flouride toothpaste a few years ago. I did not tell my hygienist I did that. On my 6 month cleaning after that she remarked on how little tartar I had, the cleaning went quicker. On the next cleaning I had zero sensitivity, and my hygienist said " whatever you are doing, keep doing your gums look better than ever." She had been my hygienist for over 20 years, and knew my mouth quite well. 😊 If your dentist or hygienist throws a fit, who cares? 😅

People can get filtering systems, pitchers etc to help remove flouride and other contaminants from their water. Never drink bottled water either. Also never get flouride treatments or use flouride toothpaste or mouth rinses. 😇

After I stopped using flouride toothpaste, flouride mouthwash and filtered flouride from our water, my dental checkups improved, quicker cleanings due to less tartar, NO sensitivity, all gone. My hygienist of 20 years did not know I stopped using flouride. After my second 6 month checkup she said "Carol, whatever you are doing, keep doing it your gums are looking great, the best I have seen them." 😉
