I've listened to hours and hours of SRV & Jeff Beck in my lifetime & Freddie King for that matter ("Going Down"). I knew SRV & JB toured together in the late 80s, but I was under the false impression they didn't get along. But they were clearly having fun in that video, which gave me an endorphin boost. I had the privilege to see them both in concert.
My son, at 12 years old learned guitar listening to SRV going on to be a Professional Touring Musician at 17, and further to Producer, Writer, Engineer.
Last Year...He said, mom I wanna come home after being in California since he was 17. 🙂😊🤔 Welcome Home Sweet Son Of Mine. 💕🙏💕👍💕🎶💕🌼
I agree with the article, four consecutive nights of SRV blue's licks would need a few "Lenny" songs to tug on the heartstrings.
