Demonic activity started in the Garden, and has been a part of humanity on earth from the beginning. The rebellion of humanity always results in consequences like the flood, destruction of cities like Sodom and Gomorrah, Jerusalem in AD 70 and on and on. A Laboratory to encourage humans to think for themselves, rather than putting faith in an unseen God? Every single time someone figures it out, they are killed to prevent others from looking deeper. Jesus did try to tell humans the truth. They lied about him and killed him, then wrote a book full of all this crap.
Jesus discovered the truth. We are all connected, and therefore should love each other as ourselves.
