what to do?

I got a Christmas list from a 12 year old family member that her mother sent to me and other family members, asking for expensive Christmas gifts (why does a 12 year old want or need expensive Sephora makeup?).

And the tween won't call, or text, or speak to me because of the woke dad?

No, I am not doing this shit any more.

I am pissed. Not hurt anymore, but seriously pissed.

Parents are divorced. Dad has a baby mommy and not married. All woke.

And Fuck these effing nose rings on women!!!!

Just send a card gift card

You DON'T ask for Christmas gifts - they are not getting married.

Maybe when the kids are old enough to think for themselves, they may come around.

My husbands sister (fat drunk) turned the two kids against my husband and I.

She also says she is a 'Republican'... but actions speak louder than words.

There are a lot of jealous twisted folk in this world. Stand your ground.

The only reason his sister and the kids are all hot for us to meet at Christmas, is they want gifts... we have had zero communication from them the last 9 years.

Apparently this has no connection in their minds.

😡

I forsee gift cards in their futures.

Yes, facts are a bit different, but similar behaviors.

The kids have not said thank you for any gifts for the last 5 years.

I just have a different attitude about it now, for the first time, because the kids now have a choice of how to treat me.

KIds don't think they ever have to say thank you for anything. They feel entitled.

Yep. I bet when you were a kid, you had to WRITE a thank you note... I did.

We have never received any thank yous ever... the two 'kuds' are 21 and 24 now.

Tired of smiling through all the bull, time to stand and just say "No". The line in the sand cannot be violated.

Yes, I had to call or write a thank you note, but I said thank you the minute I got the gift, before even opening it.

Things were different back then.

I taught my kids to write thank you notes. I still write and send thank you notes. My kids sometimes send a written, mailed note, but more often now it is a text message. 😇
