Reason I support the USA is I worked alongside your Soldiers and Airmen on the Ascension Island ! We got drunk together - We went to the movies together - we had TOGA party at the Volcano Club on the American Base !
This posting wasn`t Active Service but one night a Galaxy landed from South Africa this is during apartied when no one could deal with this regime !Then another Galaxy from the USA arrived this is 2 am in the Morning !
We Brits were looking after the SA Galaxy loaded with Gold Bullion and the Marines were guarding the USA Galaxy loaded with 2 F16 Fighters with their wings seperated !
Quick exchange of Goods but offloaded with the Gold Bullion were crates of South African Lion Beer and we were given them free !
The two aircraft Vanished and all you could hear was Beer cans popping open !
Thats why the documentry is showing us were all the same !
