This story may seem to be about whether the injection is safe or effective, but IMHO I think it is more about undoing the ties between the pipeline to a captured population for several industries. Let us imagine we have children who need to come into care. For a caregiver to have support to foster or adopt them, they have to agree to certain conditions including medical care that may only be available through a pool of providers. Are those providers incentivized to provide certain treatments or guidance? (ADHD, psych meds, vaccines, etc. as examples) If the caregiver says no, bc we have looked into it and would prefer to try this... then do they lose the support and thus the child loses the placement? Then the child may end up in a group placement that has a policy that everyone has regarding treatments or therapies and informed consent is being made by the management.
