Also, adding a few drops of organic lemon to the water makes it alkaline, which makes the water even better for you. An alkaline body is less likely to get diseases like cancer. 😉

I learned this years ago and I can testify that it certainly has been one of the reasons I am in good health. I learned that one ounce of water daily per kilogram of body weight is essential. Divide body weight by 2.2 to determine the ounces needed daily. Then divide that amount up throughout the day. Get a good NON BPA water bottle, fill it up in the morning and take it with you in the car, to work, while you are on your computer, when running errands, from room to room in your home and just drink the water throughout the day. Take a drink when stopped at a red light when running errands, take water in a holder when out for a walk, etc. If the water is with you, it is much easier to consume adequate amounts to maintain good hydration. Our bodies are 80% water, so drink up for better health. Dehydration is often the cause of illnesses. But do NOT drink bottled water. This will make your body acidic. Drink pure filtered water in a good water bottle or glass. 😇

Dr Mercola recently talked about this - there is no scientific evidence behind drinking 8 glasses or more a day. Everyone is different (needs, shapes, sizes, etc.) One size does not fit all. Drink when you are thirsty he says. We've been had by "scientific" research.

One ounce per kilogram of body weight is the best way to determine how much water a person needs. Take body weight and divide it by 2.2 to determine ounces needed. 😇
