After 25years on the boarder w chain migration well established, we went from job postings that said Spanish speaking preferred to required. Trade jobs for entry level English only speaking young men vanished. Of course, the foreman and subcontractors didn't speak English nor to mention the cultural nepotism.
Got boarder patrol taking rides through the desert when they could just roll up on job sites in Dona ana county. RICO es muy rico, verdad?
