I support farmers but I think we have to stop spraying things in the sky for this to work. I have been investigating carrots that turn black within a day or two of purchase. In the black stripe that appears, I can see shiny metallic pieces of something. Not sure what it is, but the explanation I got was related to the lack of water this season. This it totally not my area, but hopefully those working in this field are on top of their game. If had made my salad the day I bought them, I would never have observed this phenomenon and that situation would be in my body.
