Faith, hope, and charity are theological virtues that are associated with salvation in Christian theology and philosophy. They are considered to be traits that lead to morally good behavior.

Faith
The act of recognizing Jesus as the Messiah. It's the belief that God has revealed things, and that the Church's teachings are true.

Hope
The reliance on Christ's saving power, and the trust that living according to God's laws will lead to blessings in the future.

Charity
The love of Christ, and a response to his love. It's also a way to communicate Christ's love to others.

According to Moroni 10:20–21, faith, hope, and charity must work together. The virtues are said to be infused into the soul by God, and are necessary for salvation in the kingdom of God.
