if "it had to be this way" then why did last night happen the way it did?

Trump had to know it would be 3 against 1 and that they would give the questions to Kamala the way Killary got the questions for 2016, and the away by-den got them. And that instead of doing her effing VP job, she took the week off to practice the questions and practice facial looks and not to laugh.

It makes no sense to me why trump would even consider debating with her again if she is going to lie and they will not allow fact-checking with camel toe's lies

Could be completely wrong and have been many times trying to guess what's next...but, I'm thinking allowing a decent showing by Kamala removes the DS's ability to remove her from the ballot and gives them confidence to go into another debate (where they will get crushed right before election day and won't have time to fix it)...
