Not a bit surprising. Saw it happening when I lived there for 10 years. NM has been run by the five families who are descendents of the conquistadores - they own the state; and have been in bed with drug cartels for years. No wonder that the epstein property, zorro ranch, is located in the middle of ex-gov Gary King's ranch.
