Well, at least by adding it to tariffs, one can CHOSE whether to spend ones money.
Of course the tariffs will be handed right back to the customers - so expect the cost of EVERYTHING that is imported to go up.
Of course, if it is American made, there will not be a tariff, but, I am sure, the prices will be compatible regardless - as American companies can then make more profit, without paying tariffs, but charging close to the prices of those who do.
Wonder how Amazon is going to handle this complexity.
