Can you tell if a banana is “Chemically Ripened” by looking at It?

If the banana you are looking at came from a supermarket, it’s almost certain to have been ethylene treated anyway.

If the bananas have combination of green stalks and brown spots it's indicative of chemical ripening, while black stalks indicate a naturally ripened banana.

And then they attach the toxic sticker.
I watched a video about 30 years ago about
How the workers were getting ill because of spraying the banana'. They had big plastic bags over the bunch, and then spray
workers with very ill.
Hard to eat something you know is poison.
