Years ago I told my son I feel like I’m a successful slave. Turns out I was right.. I was a slave I succeeded I became middle class. I moved to the suburbs from the gheto. I got divorced bought out my ex and kept my kids in the home they knew I provided stability. My niece once asked me how I do it and my response was “but for the grace of God” I don’t know how I did it but I did. My point is they tried their damndest to enslave me but I still succeeded. Did I live wealthy? No I did not but I beat them at their own game. CHECKMATE. I win!
