Psychologists are a captured profession with some genuine therapists that truly help. Most are irreligious or nonbelievers. I worked in the profession and had frequent exposure to this. Those who get coveted degrees in order to apply them in godly pursuits were always ostracized by the orthodoxy in the profession.
