Thank you for your sentiment. We are native born texican but wanted to move out to the desert in the middle of nowhere. However, we didn't realize how horrible it was going to be living in communist occupied territory (new mexico) At least we aren't in a populated city anymore.

Let us help. We are also old and alone. Mom is 98, not ill and mentally sharp but hates Mr. T and voted for B. We take care of her. Rest of family distances from us and does not look after her. We need to band together especially during this tougher period. How can we help?

We so much appreciate the offer. We are hanging on by a thread but we are still hanging on. Social security check to check. We stretch it out to cover groceries gas and dog food but the scariest thing is our vehicles are so old and we really can't afford proper maintenance. Just hoping things will turn around. I'm worried that November will prove to be a horrible experience no matter who wins. We'll survive by the grace of God.

I guess I should be more careful what I blurt out! So many wonderful responses from folks. We never have and never will be charity cases but I sold all my woodworking tools last year to keep going but honestly there's no work here for me anyway. If only I could get a little work it would make a difference. Unfortunately I am opinionated and being a Trump supporter cost me every connection I had. We're hangin by our social security check. So far we're hangin in there.
