Whitecourt RCMP are under criminal investigation by both Canadian and United States Law Enforcement for Human Trafficking.

Specifically, Staff Sgt. Theodore Zaddery, Cst. Mathew Kelley, Corp. Alex Ayres, Cst. Jenna Walker, Corp. Randy Stenger, B. Burton, S. Melanson, and Cst. Barker.

The criminal investigation extends into Grande Prairie, Fort Saskatchewan, Chestermere and Airdrie detachments.

This same investigation involves crimes of High Treason which involves the Alberta and Saskatchewan Divisions of the RCMP
