In Buddhism, the lotus flower is a symbol of a pure way of life that is strong enough to withstand life's challenges.
Even though the lotus flower is in the mud, it does not get stained by the mud and blooms very beautiful flowers.
Lotus flowers teach us that we can have a beautiful heart no matter what our circumstances are.
