Until That Day Arrives

Psalm 91:3–6 says: “Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings, you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.” In the depths of suffering, we should offer gratitude for the fact that we are merely passing through. We are not destined to remain here; this moment of hardship is not our final destination. Our eternal destiny awaits us: a place without sin, sorrow, sickness, fear, or death. Until that glorious day arrives, we have to endure some storms. God is with us, guarding us and preserving us every step of the way.
