Pomegranate originally called pomegranate puma later in French "garnet", the term pomegranate comes from the Latin malum granatum, literally "apple with small seeds" ❗APPLE❗
Pomegranate fruit was also well known in ancient times. Known almost everywhere, it was cultivated from Iran to India and throughout the Mediterranean.

Another meaning of the pomegranate is that it gave birth to the blood of Dionysus, who was abducted as a child by the Titans named Hera, tired of Zeus' constant betrayals (the child was actually Zeus' illegitimate son). Poor Dionysos was cut into pieces and brought to boil in a cauldron - which corresponds to the methods of ritual sacrifice practiced in Bohemian Grove, and from only a drop of his blood that fell on the ground, the first pomegranate tree/bloodline was born.
