THE UNITES STATES OF AMERICA IS NOW AND ALWAYS HAS BEEN A COMMON LAW CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC. WE ARE NOT AND NEVER HAVE BEEN A DEMOCRACY.
There is much misunderstanding stemming from a repetitive phrase and terminology being inserted in to our slang and common speech for so many years the people really believe that the United States is a democracy. We are not, we are in fact a common law constitutional republic and we always have been. The word democracy appears no where in the founding articles even a single time. We are even promised each state to have a republican form of government in each one.
The Guarantee Clause of the United States Constitution, found in Article IV, Section 4, states: "The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government."
When they teach your children in school we are a democracy...NEVER fail to correct that with them.
