What if the moon covers the Sun on April 8th and doesn’t move until April 10th. April 10th being 1st day of the 1st month of the new year.
We’ve seen the moons orbit slow way way down this last month. Out all day and night…

Honestly I thought something weird happened with the moon this month. It seemed like it was near full longer than normal. Normally I get 3 nights, maybe, where I can walk my dogs on my property at night without a flashlight. Last week it was like 5 or 6 days. I thought it was just me.
