Jasher will tell you he was 32 years old, and he, like his father, was so committed to God that he was accepting of being sacrificed. He was even happy to be chosen, and of course you know the ending, that it was only a test and that God told Abraham at the last minute, No, don't do it, I was only testing you.
Interestingly, there are 3x in this one story where satan transforms himself into human form disguised as old men to meet Abraham and Issac on their way to the place of sacrifice to persuade them to disobey God. Lastly he appears to Sarah, Isaac's mother, and informs her of the sacrifice and on account of this she has a heart attack and dies.
